MUSES: SADIE BEAUDET OF TRADLANDS
Un-buttoned and smock-like with the sleeves rolled up, or tucked in with a bolo tie like Bruce Springsteen on the cover of 'Tunnel of Love,' my men's shirts all possess an upper-echelon level of 'shirt-ness' that is, quite simply, not found in any other women's blouse.
San Francisco sweethearts Sadie Beaudet and Jeremy Roberts forged their own path in 2012 with a goal as clean-cut as their clothing line - to craft simple shirting for women. Their fledgling company Tradlands possesses an authoritative and boyish New England aesthetic, complemented by the duo's dedication to Union-made apparel.
As I admire Miss Beaudet's affliction towards simplicity in dressing and attention to detail, I was pleased when asked to test the latest Tradlands henley.
In return, I asked Sadie to share some of the details of her life with me as an independent business owner. Thanks for sharing Sadie! Wishing both yourself, Jeremy, and Tradlands the best in 2014.
